This year our Junior League will feature 28 teams of the best prospects from around the GTA. The Junior league is a great way for players born between 1997 and 2002 to stay in shape during the summer, and continue to play at the junior level in the offseason. This league is highly recommended to younger players who want to take their game to the next level, and gain experience playing against older and more experienced players in a competitive atmosphere.
All players participating in the Junior League will gain exposure to the many junior coaches, scouts, agents and hockey ops staff in attendance every week, wanting to get a look at some of the best talent in the GTA. For many of our registered teams, it is a great opportunity for players to gain chemistry with their current or future teammates.
Each game has two 25 minute periods of stop time, and a shootout if tied after regulation. Finally, the season is topped off with an exciting playoff format as teams compete for the CHG Cup!
